My name is Steve Hesse and I’m a criminal defense lawyer.
I defend people charged with crimes in the courts of Texas. This is my professional calling and I am honored to defend my clients against the immense power of the State. I’ve been a lawyer since 1997. I have over 10 years experience as a criminal prosecutor in Harris County and Williamson County before I went into criminal defense practice in 2008. I am Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Over the past 20 years, I have handled a broad variety of felony and misdemeanor cases in the Texas courts with extensive jury trial experience in the Williamson County Courts with DWI/DUI’s, drug offenses, domestic violence charges, financial crimes, child abuse and sexual offenses along with other areas of criminal law. I was recognized as Prosecutor of the Year by the Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center for my efforts in fighting crimes against children. I have lived and worked in Georgetown since 2002 and it’s where I’ve raised my two children. I have established deep roots on the community after many years. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University and South Texas College of Law.
Steve Hesse is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Defense Lawyers Association, Williamson County Bar and The Williamson County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
